Residents of Kubwa, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), were thrown into shock yesterday following the discovery of a mutilated female corpse and two dead animals near it on a refuse dump behind PW Bridge in the area.
Two dead animals, a goat and a dog, inside separate sacks were dumped behind the woman’s body which was cut into nine parts, with the genitals and breasts intact but without the limbs.
A security guard working in one of the business premises near the scene, said they woke up in the morning to discover the mutilated corpse.
The Kubwa Divisional Police Officer, CSP Abubakar Abdulkarim, who confirmed the incident, said investigation into the matter was ongoing, but the body was still at the site when our reporter left the scene around 2pm on Monday.
