Transactions on the floor of the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) yesterday sustained growth trend as the two market indicators yesterday increased by 0.56 per cent.
The NGX All Share Index appreciated by 285.46 basis points to 51377.21 points from 51091.75 points traded on Tuesday.
Market capitalisation of listed equities appreciated by N153 billion to N27.697 trillion from N27.544 trillion reported the previous day.
Investors traded 229.366 million shares valued at N3.196 billion in 4536 deals against 166.969 million shares worth N2.239 billion in 4398 deals.
An analysis of the investment showed that Ellah Lakes led gainers table during the day, increasing by 10 per cent to N4.40, Presco Plc followed with a gain of 9.71 per cent to N183.00, FBNHoldings added 9.52 per cent to N9.20, LiveStock Feeds increased by 9.09 per cent to N1.44, Courtvellle Business Solutions added 8.70 per cent to N0.50.
