Mason Mount’s move to Manchester United hasn’t worked yet with the midfielder not evening making the starting XI anymore.
There are many issues at Old Trafford at the moment but the fans are focused on the lack of goals and Mount’s struggles in attack.
The 24-year-old has failed to find the net in his first 12 games for the Red Devils which is an issue since he’s not entirely non-prolific.
The England international has scored 52 goals in his career. In the 2021/22 season, with Chelsea doing well, he found the net 11 times.
His many struggles at Man United could be down to several issues and it’s not really possible to point out at what exactly is causing the drought.
Is it the injuries, that plagued him since the summer? Is it Erik ten Hag, who doesn’t appear to know how to use him? Is it a continuation of last season’s poor form?
There’s a bigger issue at Old Trafford with the forwards scoring just once in 12 Premier League games. Mount, meanwhile, needs to forget about everything and focus and scoring his first goal.
