Similarly, Senator Ishaku Abbo became victorious in his Adamawa North election to return to the Red Chamber.
Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won his election predictably after he gained popularity through a free medical outreach to the nine LGAs that constitute southern Adamawa.
Announcing the result of Adamawa southern senatorial zone at INEC collation centre in Numan, the electoral umpire returned Yaroe with 14,6407 votes to beat his closest rival, the candidate of APC, Adamu Samaila Numan who polled 9,482 votes.
