PEP GUARDIOLA slammed Manchester United fans for “shameful” chants about Phil Foden’s mum.
Sections of the home support chanted “Phil Foden, your mum is a s**g” during the Old Trafford stalemate.
City boss Guardiola said: “It was a lack of class.
“We are so exposed in football — managers, owners and football players especially.”
Senior City figures were understood to have been shocked and disgusted by the chants, both in the number of those taking part and the frequency they hurled their abuse about Foden’s mother, Claire.
Guardiola said: “I don’t understand the mind of the people involving the mum of Phil.
“It’s a lack of integrity, class, and they should be ashamed.”
