US tariffs threaten Nigeria’s exports, FG admits

The Federal Government has acknowledged that new US tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump could harm Nigeria’s oil and non-oil exports, weakening their competitiveness in the American market.

Trade Minister Dr. Jumoke Oduwole stated that Nigeria’s exports to the US, averaging $5–6 billion yearly, may face significant disruption.
