Former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Dr. Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), has weighed in on the sexual harassment allegation made by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, stating that it lacks the legal threshold required to prove such a case.

Agbakoba, in a statement issued on Sunday, said the allegation as presented does not meet the evidentiary standard for sexual harassment. “I have read what Senator Natasha said. I do not consider that it meets the threshold of sexual harassment,” he stated.

He stressed that while every allegation of sexual misconduct should be taken seriously, it must also be evaluated based on legal standards and evidence. Agbakoba urged the public to remain objective, noting that such claims should be pursued within appropriate legal frameworks.
