The glory lost in the Garden of Eden was restored at Gethsemane and Golgotha. This profound sacrifice reveals how deeply God cherishes humanity, created in His own image and likeness

Easter is the sacred culmination of God’s extraordinary love, revealed in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In His own words, Christ declared: “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). In Jesus, God is not simply showing affection — He is demonstrating an uncommon, sacrificial love that rewrites the very story of humanity.
Unlike the prodigal son, who squandered his inheritance in wasteful living, Jesus is the faithful Son who invested His Father’s riches—His love, mercy, and grace—into the salvation of mankind. The prodigal depleted; Christ redeemed.
At Easter, God did not withhold His only begotten Son. Instead, He gave Him up willingly, not with regret, but with purpose. Through the agony of Gethsemane—where Christ prayed with such intensity that His sweat was like drops of blood—through the injustice of His trial, and the agony of Golgotha, a divine transaction unfolded. The glory lost in Eden was restored through Christ’s obedience and suffering.
Easter transforms our understanding of justice and mercy. What could have been recorded as murder became “crucifixion,” a divine mystery shrouding human sin in God’s redemptive light. The blood shed on Calvary continues to speak on our behalf (Romans 8:34), reminding both heaven and earth that God values His image too much to part with it (Genesis 1:26).
Easter is not merely an event—it is an ongoing revelation. It changes destinies, bridges the gap between man and God, and invites all to receive the blessings of divine reconciliation.
God’s love is sacrificial.
Lord God of heaven and earth, grant us the grace to be true beneficiaries of Easter’s everlasting blessings.
