Former Kano State Governor and NNPP leader, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has alleged that Buba Galadima and Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed were among those who “cheated” the North in the last general elections. Speaking during a political interview, Kwankwaso said both men, who are prominent northern figures, failed to act in the region’s best interest.
“People like Buba Galadima, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed and others who ought to stand for the North ended up betraying it,” he alleged.
Kwankwaso claimed their actions contributed to the region’s political setbacks and weakened its position nationally. He stressed that northern politicians must re-evaluate their alliances and priorities to avoid similar outcomes in the future.
