Tragedy struck the Ọja Odan area of Ogun State as the dismembered body of 80-year-old Ayodele Ogundipe, who was declared missing on April 24, was discovered on her farm. The Ogun State Police Command confirmed the development on Friday.
“The Ogun State Police Command is investigating a tragic incident involving the discovery of the remains of an eighty-year-old woman, Ayodele Ogundipe, who was reported missing on April 24, 2025,” said spokesperson Omolola Odutola.
According to Odutola, Ogundipe was last seen heading to her farm, prompting her family to alert the Oja Odan Divisional Police.
“On April 25, 2025, a search and rescue operation was initiated… which led to the shocking discovery of her remains,” she added.
CP Lanre Ogunlowo has launched covert operations to apprehend the suspects.
