Lacking clear national legislation, these clinics operate with minimal oversight, often prioritising profit over women’s health. “There is this offer that I know that can help improve your financial situation as a student… selling your eggs,” a woman told 22-year-old Imade Ayodeji, who later gave in to the offer out of financial desperation.
