Man arrested in Lagos for possession of human organs

According to police, Oghenebreme was allegedly transporting the organs from Edo State to a native doctor for suspected money-making rituals.

A 25-year-old man, Samson Oghenebreme, was arrested in Lagos for possession of human organs. The Odo-Noforija Police Division apprehended him following a tip-off from vigilant community members who noticed his suspicious movements.

According to police, Oghenebreme was allegedly transporting the organs from Edo State to a native doctor for suspected money-making rituals. Lagos State Police Command spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest.

The recovered organs have been deposited at the General Hospital in Epe for preservation. The case has been transferred to the Edo State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police Olohundare Jimoh commended the operatives and community members for their swift response and vigilance, urging residents to remain watchful and report suspicious activities.
