The 36 year old San Diego, California teacher was seen bawling in court when she realized she’d be spending the next 3 decades in prison.
Ma pleaded guilty to two counts of “forcible lewd acts on a child and possession of matter depicting a minor engaging in sexual conduct.” (NYP)
“Instead of following the path of what a teacher should be, I let my selfishness override the boys’ best interests,” she said while crying in court.
Ma was initially busted when the mother of a 12 year old boy found love letters from the teacher.
She groomed the child for 10 months. Ma also abused another boy, 11, years before.
Police say they found text messages from Ma to one of the boys where she described s*x acts between her and him, including photos.
Ma was named one of San Diego’s 2022 “teachers of the year.”
Have fun in prison!
