With just three days away from the official commencement of the activities marking the 40th remembrance anniversary of the founder of the Celestial Church of Christ, Rev. SBJ Oshoffa, a memorial service(Amisa) was held yesterday at the National Headquarters of the church at Makoko in the Yaba area of Lagos.
The well-attended event was graced by faithful from far and near who used the moment to reminisce about what they described as the remarkable spiritual journey of the founder of the church.
Rifnote reports that while a press conference will be held at the same venue on May 14, the grand finale of the juvenile choir competition will be held at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos on May 27, among other activities lined up for the six-month long 40th remembrance anniversary organised by the Greater Tomorrow Group.
