A full-page anti-Trump ad in the New York Times funded by Walmart heiress Christy Walton has sparked MAGA-led calls for a boycott of the retail giant.

The ad, part of the “No Kings” movement, urged Americans to “mobilize” on Saturday—Flag Day and Trump’s birthday—to “reject authoritarianism.”

White House spokesman Kush Desai criticized the move, saying, “Great, a left-wing billionaire feels like burning some of her inheritance for a PR stunt.” Kari Lake and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna also condemned Walton, while Roger Stone wrote, “Boycott Walmart! The Walmart Heiress subsidizes insurrection.”

A Walton spokesperson clarified, “Her interest is simply in encouraging people to listen to one another… She condemns violence in all forms.”

Walmart distanced itself, stating Walton “has no active role in company decisions.” Press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump supports peaceful protest, adding, “The president views himself as the President of the United States of America… This is a constitutional republic.”

Over 1,500 protests are planned nationwide, excluding D.C.
