The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday debunked reports that it has postponed its presidential primary election scheduled for today.
The party denied reports about the alleged postponement in a statement by Debo Ologunagba, PDP national publicity secretary, Naija News reports.
The main opposition party maintained that its Special National Convention is on course as scheduled.
The PDP also called on members and delegates to disregard news of its postponement.
“The PDP as a party of due process has since commenced processes to elect our Presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections in line with our mission to rescue and rebuild our nation from misrule,” it said.
