The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council spokesperson, Festus Keyamo (SAN), has said that the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is avoiding the media and live interviews because campaigns for the 2023 general elections have not started.
It could be recalled that since his emergence as the APC’s presidential candidate in June, the former Lagos State governor has stayed away from media chats, press conference or any live interviews compare to his main opponents who are going on Media tours and granting interviews.
This has generated discussions about his readiness and health status ahead of the 2023 elections as some Nigerian took to their respective social media platform to slammed the former Lagos State Governor that his alleged ill-health and incapacitation were behind his refusal to grant live interviews.
Reacting to the allegations, Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment described the report as fake news, saying when the time comes, Nigerians “will hear from Tinubu again and again.”
While stating that Tinubu is not shying away from interviews, the Minister added that “campaigns have not started. The Nation will hear from him again and again and again.”
