A Lagos based social activist, Comrade Kennedy Iyere, has revealed that there are plots by some Igbo elites to scuttle the presidential ambition of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP).
Comrade Iyere, in a statement said three Igbo political elites who are close allies to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar have been hired to infiltrate the Labour Party in Enugu state and derailed the party from within.
According to Iyere, he alleged that Okwesilieze Nwodo, Nnia Nwodo and Prof Barth Nnaji are part of this grand plot being financed by Atiku Abubakar to penetrate the South-east ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
“Peter Obi must not allow himself to be brainwashed by these men who have falsely pledged their loyalty to him in the secret.
They promised to betray Atiku by working behind the scene to favour Peter Obi. But it truly hurts knowing that these men have no truth in their mouths, while they have succeeded in brainwashing Peter Obi to embrace their lies…
