A group under the aegis of Garba Margi Foundation for Peace and Development, has vowed to ensure that the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar emerges as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023.
A statement signed on behalf of the foundation by the Director of Operation, Alhaji Ibrahim Garba, and made available to the media in Kaduna Monday, said the foundation was committed to ensuring that Atiku Abubakar emerged the president.
While stating that Nigeria currently needed an experienced, hardworking and well connected person like the Wazirin Adamawa, Atiku Abubakar with a view to bringing back the lost glory of the country.
The statement described Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as a democrat and sincere elder that had done a lot for the unity and progress of the country while serving as the vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria between 1999–2007.
