JUST IN: EFCC records 19 sales Monday as bidding ends 


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, on Monday, recorded 19 successful bids as the curtain was drawn on the sales of forfeited landed properties, in Abuja.

The properties, located in different parts of the country, were forfeited to the federal government, being proceeds of crimes established through judicial processes by the EFCC.  

During Monday’s bidding exercise, being the final day for the sales, there were fresh bids for all the unsold properties in lots 4,5,6,7,8 and 9, where 19 successful bidders emerged before the close of sales at about 8:40 pm.

One of the winners, Henry Udeme, in an interview with newsmen, commended the EFCC, adding that the exercise was transparent.

Udeme said, “The exercise on Monday is commendable, I have been coming here since last week to represent my boss, but we won today.
