Superstar Jeremy Renner gave fans an update Monday in a message about how much he was missing his home after being hospitalized on New Year’s Day with major injuries from a snowplow accident.
In a post on his Instagram Story, the 52-year-old actor shared a photo of his place outside of Reno, Nevada almost completely covered in snow with the banks and tress covered in a blanket of white as well following recent winter storms in the western part of the state, People magazine reported.
He captioned it simply, “Missing my happy place.”
The Marvel star continued his recovery Monday at the hospital after being airlifted to one near his home on January 1 when a snowplow he was operating ran over him. He suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries,” in the freak accident, a statement from his publicist Samantha Mast shared at the time. He also underwent multiple surgeries.
