Beyoncé wins record-breaking 32nd Grammy

American R&B singer Beyoncé has become the most awarded artiste in Grammy’s history after picking up her 32nd honour at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony held in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

The 41-year-old clinched her 32nd Grammy for the best dance/electronic music album with her ‘Renaissance’ album to set a new record – it was her fourth win of the night after she already won three other categories including the R&B song of the Year with ‘Cuff it’.

She also won two awards in the pre-shown with ‘Break my soul’ for the Dance Recording category and ‘Plastic off the sofa’ for the Traditional R&B performance.

It took the songwriter 88 career nominations to break the previous 31 Grammy Awards record held by Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti, who won his last award in 1998, the year after his death.
