Epsom College head 'made distressed call before husband shot her and child dead'

DAILY STAR

The deaths of Epsom College head Emma Pattison, her husband George and their daughter Lettie, seven, are being treated as a “murder-suicide” by police, it has been reported.

Mrs Pattison, 45, was found dead on the school grounds alongside George, 39, and their daughter in the early hours of Sunday, February 5 after a shooting just hours after a distressed Mrs Pattison is said to have made a call to a family member.

By the time the relative arrived at the grounds of the school following on from the distressed call, Emma, George and Lettie were dead.

The trio had been shot dead in an “isolated incident”, with police saying there was no third-party involvement in their deaths.

Both BBC News and The Sun are now reporting police believe the tragic case to be a double murder-suicide, with George killing both Emma and their daughter before killing himself.

The awful update comes as tributes were paid to Emma, who had began her role as head of Epsom College in September 2022, with Daily Star previously reporting the family were set for a “big change” just weeks ago.

Said change was revealed by the 45-year-old head of school on the Epsom College-based podcast, where Emma revealed she and her family were preparing to welcome a dog into the family.
