Death Row killer's last words before execution for killing girlfriend and 3 kids

DAILY STAR

A man has been executed for the killing of his live-in girlfriend and her three children.

Raheem Taylor, 58, was put to death by lethal injection in prison in Missouri, United States, after midnight UK time on February 8.

In a final statement, he wrote: Muslims don’t die but “live eternally in the hearts of our family and friends”, before adding: “Death is not your enemy, it is your destiny. Look forward to meeting it. Peace!”

A clemency request was denied on Monday (February 6) by Republican Governor Mike Parson calling Taylor maintaining innocence “self-serving claim of innocence”.

Last minute appeals to the Supreme Court issued by Taylor’s lawyers were also declined.
