A couple who were injured in a car crash and spent the night in the wreckage surrounded by hungry lions said it’s a “miracle” they survived.
Mario Titus, 46, was driving wife Grace, 34, to hospital after she began experiencing high blood pressure and shortness of breath on a September evening last year.
The pair were nearing the end of their 124-mile drive from their home in Mata Mata, South Africa, when they hit a sign and careened off the road.
They slammed into a tree in a collision that crushed their vehicle and left Grace with six broken bones in her pelvis and leg and deep cuts across her body.
