NICKIE LOUISE FROM TECH STARTUPS
In what many are calling a complete takedown of the state-funded British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Twitter CEO Elon Musk completely obliterated pro-censorship BBC reporter with facts and reason in a rare interview that took place early this morning.
BBC reporter James Clayton accused Twitter of misinformation and the supposed rise in hate speech. He also alleged that hate speech on Twitter has risen since Elon took over the social platform in October 2022. But Clayton was left scrambling to provide a single example of hate speech during the Twitter Spaces interview that was listened to by more than 3.3 million people.
During the interview, Musk repeatedly asked Clayton to give one example of hate speech that he witnessed on the social platform but he failed to provide any. “You just lied,” Musk later called out the BBC reporter.
Below are some of the excerpts from the interview.
BBC ‘journalism’ at its finest 🤦🏻♂️

Here’s another one.
BBC: Why is there so much more hate speech on Twitter now?
— David Sacks (@DavidSacks) April 12, 2023
Elon: Can you give me an example?
BBC: Uh…
Elon: Just one.
BBC: Uh… People say…
Elon: People say all sorts of nonsense. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
BBC: Let’s move on!
Wow. Reporter got completely…
Meanwhile, responding to a tweet about the interview, Musk said: “Penetrating deep & hard with @BBC”
