Cristiano Ronaldo’s Saudi Arabia club, Al-Nassr, has officially announced the departure of Rudi Garcia as the first team’s head coach by mutual agreement, Peoples Gazette can confirm.
“The management of Al-Nassr club has officially decided to terminate the contractual relationship with the first team coach, Mr Rudi Garcia,” the club’s statement said on Thursday.
It added: “The board and everyone at Al Nassr would like to thank Rudi and his staff for their dedicated work during the past 8 months.”
A goalless draw against bottom side Al Feiha in the Saudi Pro League saw Al-Nassr drop three points behind its arch-rivals and league leaders Al Ittihad. Coupled with reported dressing room rifts, Mr Garcia’s stint in the Middle Eastern country finally came to an end.
