Chrome users need to check their browser settings for an emergency update—or risk falling prey to a malicious ‘zero-day’ bug.
Google has issued a warning after it discovered that hackers are already exploiting the bug and using it to hack innocent Internet users’ browsers.
Any device running an older version of Google Chrome is therefore at risk, unless you install the update necessary to fix the problem.
Doing so should block cybercriminals from making any further attempts to hack your browser using the vulnerability.
