Six new permanent secretaries take Oath of Office as Buhari presides over FEC

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, shored up the number of Federal Permanent Secretaries in the Civil Service to 92, following the swearing-in of an additional six.

Shortly after the new appointees took the oath of office at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Buhari went on to preside over the meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

The President specifically administered the oaths of office to Mahmud Kambari, Nko Esuabana, Adamu Lamuwa, Yakubu Kofarmata, Olufemi Oloruntola and Richard Pheelangwah as permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.

A statement by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity on Wednesday, noted that since the inception of the administration on May 29, 2015, President Buhari has sworn in 92 Federal permanent secretaries.
