Mykhaylo Mudryk has returned to the Chelsea side for Saturday’s Premier League fixture with Bournemouth.
The £88m January arrival has had to remain patient for regular opportunities in the Blues XI, making five starts and seven substitute outings in the Premier League.
However, caretaker manager Frank Lampard has opted to include the Ukrainian winger in his side for the encounter versus the in-form Cherries.
Lampard has made a total of five alterations with Trevoh Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile, Conor Gallagher and Kai Havertz also being handed recalls.
Cesar Azpilicueta, Mateo Kovacic and Raheem Sterling have all dropped down to the bench, but Wesley Fofana and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang do not feature in the squad.
Academy graduate Lewis Hall is back among the replacements, yet there is still no place for the likes of Carney Chukwuemeka and David Datro Fofana.
In sharp contrast to Chelsea, Bournemouth boss Gary O’Neil has selected an unchanged team after their 4-1 triumph over Leeds United last weekend.
The two teams head into the fixture on the South coast separated by only goal difference in the standings, albeit with Chelsea having played one match fewer.
