Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has explained why he is not happy with the ongoing comparison of his administration with that of his predecessor, Kayode Fayemi.
Governor Oyebanji spoke at a stakeholders’ Forum in Ido/Osi Local Government Area of the state organised to mark his 200 days in office.
He spoke in reaction to claims by some commentators, especially on the social media, that he has outperformed his immediate predecessor.
But Oyebanji said he doesn’t feel good about such comparison as it is inappropriate and absolutely unfair.
This, the Governor said was because his administration is a continuation of that of Fayemi.
He therefore described such comparison as a waste of time as the ex-governor Fayemi remains his leader and his government was an offshoot of his administration.
“I want to appeal to people not to make a distinction from ex- governor Fayemi-led administration and mine. We are one and I said it again. We’re one.
