An associate of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), in Kano, Alhaji Abdulmajid Danbulki, has cautioned the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, against any move to form an alliance with the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.

He warned that any political alliance between Tinubu and Kwankwaso would not augur well for the President-elect and the All Progressives Congress.

“We are making this statement because reports reaching us indicate that Tinubu had met with Kwankwaso in Paris, France, preparatory to allegedly bring him into the APC, and even give him and his followers some ministerial and other appointments.

“We, therefore, want to state categorically that if Bola Tinubu brings Kwankwaso into the APC and goes ahead to appoint him and his followers into his government, we will react in a manner that will not augur well for the APC in the North,” he said.

According to Commander, the President-elect does not need Kwankwaso in the APC as there are notable stalwarts of the party in Kano and other parts of the North that would competently promote his interest and that of the party in the region…
