The commissioning of the Dangote refinery in Lagos by President Muhammadu Buhari dominated the cover pages of today’s newspapers.

The Punch reports that the Dangote refinery is expected to begin operations on Monday as the facility has been designed to process crude oil grades from three continents including Africa, Asia, and America. The newspaper says the federal high court in Abuja has ordered the federal government to account for the spending of a $460m Chinese loan meant to fund the failed Abuja Closed-Circuit Television project.

The Nation says Kashim Shettima, vice president-elect, said Bola Tinubu, president-elect, will run an inclusive administration. The newspaper reports that Nasir el-Rufai, outgoing governor of Kaduna, said he did not steal a dime from the state’s treasury in his eight years in office.
