The Russian national team contacted Arsenal after the Gunners deleted a birthday greeting from their former Russian player, Andrey Arshavin.
It should be noted that on Monday, May 29, the London club posted a video of the Russian striker playing against Liverpool on their social networks and wished their former footballer a good day, but later deleted the post.
“You can delete a post, but you can’t delete your history,” writes the press service of the Russian national team on their social networks.
Recall that Arshavin played for Arsenal from 2009 to 2012. In total, he played 144 games for the Gunners, scoring 31 goals and providing 46 assists.
