On Friday, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, submitted verified copies of President Bola Tinubu’s educational and professional records.
The certifications that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has admitted against President Tinubu are his B.Sc. diploma from Chicago State University, National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) discharge certificate and Mobil Nigeria Oil Plc certificate of service.
Through their subpoenaed witness, private attorney Mike Enahoro-Ebah, the PDP delivered the records.
The private attorney observed that although the documents apparently belonged to President Tinubu, they were named “Bola Adekunle Tinubu.”
Chris Uche, the PDP’s principal attorney, introduced the witness into testimony along with the forms EC13 and EC9 nominations as well as the letters sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as attachments.
Abubakar Mahmoud, the attorney for INEC, Emmanuel Ukala, Lateef Fagbemi, and Tinubu all raised objections to the admissibility of the documents.

Receipt of payment for certification.
Witness application letter requesting the documents.
INEC’s Letter of Response.
Certificate from Chicago University belonging to the 2nd respondent (Tinubu).
NYSC discharge certificate belonging to the 2nd respondent, Tinubu Bola Adekunle.
Certificate of service from Mobile Oil Nigeria PLC.
