Estate residents tackle Ogun company over bad road

Landlords and residents of Redstar Estate in the Magboro community, in the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, have lamented the bad condition of the Redstar-Sparklight Road linking the estate to the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The residents, while complaining over the development to our correspondents who visited the area to assess the condition of the road, said industrial activities by a fishing company situated in the community worsened the road residents use to navigate various areas in the community.

Speaking with PUNCH Metro, a resident, Austin Ejeke, expressed fear that if the company’s industrial activities continue on the road without efforts to improve the condition of the road, the estate might be “locked out completely.”
