Jake Paul has insisted he will be able to raise $100million in order to make a fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg happen.
The YouTube star has transitioned to the ring and become one of boxing’s most talked-about stars over the past three years as a professional. He has also launched his own Most Valuable Promotions, signing undisputed featherweight champion Amanda Serrano and top prospects Ashton Sylve and Shadasia Green to his banner.
Paul will return to the ring against Nate Diaz on August 5 in Texas after suffering his first defeat by Tommy Fury in February. And he has detailed how his connections in the Middle East, where that bout took place, could help him to set up the social media grudge fight between Twitter boss Musk and Facebook founder Zuckerberg.
“I think it very well could happen,” Paul said during a new episode of his show BS with Jake Paul. “And I have a $100million offer for Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg to take this fight to the Middle East, to promote it, to put it on for charity. We can guarantee that money.”
UFC boss Dana White, with whom the YouTuber has had a lengthy feud, is also offering to put the fight on and has already been seen wearing t-shirts promoting the bout. But Paul is the latest critic to point out the MMA supremo’s hypocrisy after days earlier claiming he wasn’t interested in putting on “gimmick fights”.
