Former Edo State Governor and Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole has expressed shock over what he called the level of vandalisation of the properties of the National Assembly by former lawmakers.
Oshiomhole disclosed that in spite of the presence of security men and women, television sets, carpets and chairs were looted by the immediate past senators and House of Representatives members.
Oshiomhole made the revelation when he appeared on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
According to him, the former lawmakers left their offices in shambles with holes on the wall, saying he had to pay to fix his office before using it.
The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, stressed that the vandalisation also took place in the offices vacated by past Principal Officers of the National Assembly, whose names he refused to mention.
