BREAKING: EasyJet flight issues ’emergency alert’ as plane from London to Edinburgh is diverted to Manchester following a ‘passenger incident’

An easyJet flight was forced to suddenly divert on this evening after an ’emergency alert’ was reportedly issued in the air near Manchester.

The EZY312 flight, from London Stansted to Edinburgh, that departed at around 5.20pm, suddenly diverted to Liverpool John Lennon whilst flying over the Peak District.

The flight path shows how the aircraft then turned and flew over Manchester before landing at Liverpool John Lennon airport shortly after 6pm.

RadarBox reported that an emergency alert was issued before the aircraft was forced to make the sudden diversion to Liverpool.
