A mysterious social media user, who claims to be a “time traveller from the year 2858″, has issued an eerie warning about the end of the world.
The user, who posts under the username @darknesstimetravel, has gained more than 12,000 followers by posting outlandish claims about future events — with everything from wormholes to the creation of mythical creatures.
But in their most recent video, the user claimed a “hostile alien species” is travelling to Earth to destroy it and that humans need to be prepared to “save our species”.
In the video, which has gained more than 30,000 likes, the self-professed time-warper wrote: “ATTENTION! Yes, I am a real time traveller, I am going to tell you how the world will end.
“In less than 3 months, on October 3, an alien will come to Earth, known as “The Vanguard” The Vanguard is currently being chased by a group of hostile alien species known as The Distants.
