72-year-old California Judge arrested for allegedly murdering his wife

An Orange County Superior Court judge, Jeffrey Ferguson, has been arrested and charged with the shooting death of his wife in California’s upscale Anaheim Hills neighborhood, Knewz.com has learned.

According to authorities, police received a 911 call about a shooting at the couple’s home on Thursday evening. Officers arrived at the scene and discovered 65-year-old Sheryl Ferguson with at least one gunshot wound. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jeffrey Ferguson was arrested in the home without incident. Local police have not released any additional information about the case as the investigation is ongoing. The 72-year-old judge has been booked on $1 million bail.
