DAILY POST
Arsenal are eyeing up another £100 million signing to land Brighton striker Evan Ferguson.
Ferguson is showing himself to be one of the most exciting young talents in the Premier League, and has caught the attention of top clubs across Europe.
However, Arsenal will not make a move for the 18-year-old until next summer, instead using this season to lay the groundwork for a future deal just as they did with midfielder Declan Rice.
The Gunners will have to battle the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool who have all shown interest in the Irishman.
But according to FootballTransfers, Arsenal are already in pole position to land their man at a huge price.
Ferguson’s current contract with Brighton will expire in 2028.
He has scored 11 goals in 31 appearances for the Seagulls.
