Gabriel Magalhaes returns to the backline for Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Manchester United at the Emirates. The Brazilian has been on the bench for all three of the Gunners’ league matches so far, but replaces Thomas Partey in the starting lineup for this match. The Ghanaian has been ruled out with an injury.
Oleksandr Zinchenko is also back into the back four meaning that the back four who started the majority of last season is back together for the first time this campaign. The Ukrainian replaces Jakub Kiwor at left back, with William Saliba shifting to right centre back and Ben White moving to right back.
In midfield, Mikel Arteta hasn’t made any changes. That means Declan Rice starts, Kai Havertz is at left central midfield, while Martin Odegaard skippers the side on the right.
Up front Eddie Nketiah continues in his run in the side despite the fact that Gabriel Jesus is back on the bench. He is flanked either side by Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
Arsenal confirmed XI vs Manchester United – Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Havertz, Odegaard; Saka, Nketiah, Martinelli.
