Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said this week that he believes that Democrats will likely seek to replace President Joe Biden ahead of the 2024 presidential election and that they will do so by bringing in Michelle Obama.
Cruz made the remarks during an episode of his “Verdict” podcast with co-host Ben Ferguson while discussing the mainstream media’s recent push for Biden to not run again.
“Here’s the scenario that I think is perhaps most likely and most dangerous,” Cruz said. “In August of 2024, the Democrat kingmakers jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama.”
“So, Michelle Obama, number one, you don’t infuriate African American women, which is a critical part of the constituency that Democrats are relying on to win,” Cruz said. “But number two, you avoid the problem if you pick from any of the four, the other three are pissed [Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom], because they’re all, to some extent, peers, they’re rivals,…
