A chilling prophecy by Nostradamus may have come true after Israel declared a state of war today, with the French philosopher predicting a World War Three event would take place this year

A chilling prophecy by French philosopher Nostradamus may have come true after Israel declared a state of war today.
Prophet Michel de Nostradame said a “great war” would come this year. It comes after he correctly predicted a number of harrowing events over the last 100 years – from the rise of Adolf Hitler to the shooting of President John F Kennedy and even 2022’s cost of living crisis – in his book Les Prophéties.
In the publication, released more than 450 years ago, Nostradamus writes of 2023: “Seven months the Great War, people dead of evil-doing. Rouen, Evreux shall not fall to the King.”
It was thought the alarming prediction could allude to a World War 3-esque conflict stemming from the troubles in Ukraine arising next year. But after Palestinian terrorist group Hamas launched a rocket strike on Israel today (October 7), it appears Nostradamus’ conflict could be more wide-reaching than previously thought.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took to X (formerly Twitter) this morning to declare: “We are at war.” The announcement came after more than 5,000 rockets were launched at towns and cities across the country, including Tel Aviv.
Emergency sirens wailed throughout some of Israel’s major cities, including Jerusalem, as missiles rained down on the country today – the final day of the Jewish High Holidays. Red alerts have been put in place in several areas targeted by Hamas, which is recognised as a terrorist group by the UK and a number of other countries including Israel, the US and Canada.
