Omokri knocks Peter Obi over LP’s rejection of Atiku’s merger proposal

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has said any party that featured Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2027 election as presidential candidate or running mate will lose.

Omokri said this while reacting to the decision of Obi’s Labour Party to reject the proposal of a merger of political parties in Nigeria to confront the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC recently proposed by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, made the suggestion during the visit of members of Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC to him in Abuja.

Omokri, who described the decision of the Labour Party to reject the proposed merger as ‘incredibly unwise’ noted that the “leaked Yes Daddy audio’ has finished Peter Obi’s political career at the federal level forever.

He added that if a “united opposition could not defeat the All Progressives Congress in 2019, it only follows that it will hardly pull it off in 2023 and 2027. That is just pure common sense…
