Supercomputer predicts final Premier League table after Everton points deduction

MIRROR

A supercomputer has piled further misery on Everton, with the Toffees’ chances of relegation increasing by 20 percent following their points deduction.

It was announced on Friday that Sean Dyche‘s side had been docked 10 points for breaching profit and sustainability rules. That has dropped them into the relegation zone, though they are only two points adrift of safety heading into the international break.

But they still look set for an uphill task if they are to beat the drop come the final game of the season in May. Dyche’s side will host Manchester United at Goodison Park when the Premier Leagure returns from the international break

And fresh in the mind will be a new supercomputer from bettingexpert.com that has raised their chances of relegation by 20 percent. Before the deduction, they had a 1.4 percent chance of going down thanks to a solid start to the season.

But that figure now stands at 21.4 percent in light of Friday’s announcement. The Toffees have pledged to appeal the independent commission’s findings, though a statement from the Premier League appears to have backed the outcome.

In better news, the supercomputer does believe they may just be able to secure survival. Instead, it is Sheffield United, Luton and Burnley are the favourites to go down, though the Clarets’ chances of staying up have increased by more than six percent due to Everton’s deduction.

Before the deduction, the supercomputer had predicted Everton to finish 12th. But that spot would now be occupied by Wolves, with the Toffees dropping all the way down to 17th place, just above the relegation zone.

Bournemouth, Fulham, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace would all shift up a place, like Gary O’Neil’s Wolves. At the top, Manchester Ciy are tipped to win a fourth successive Premier League title.
