An American XL Bully will be destroyed after it attacked its owner as he was having sex.
Scott Thurston, 32, was bitten by the two-year-old dog Hank at his home in Wales, on August 2.
His partner Leanne Bell called police to the house in Jones Terrace, Glanaman, Carmarthenshire, in the early hours of this morning.
Llanelli Magistrates’ Court yesterday ordered the dog be destroyed after 28 days pending appeals, the BBC reported.
The order was granted due to ‘significant safeguarding concerns’ over the dog with four young children in the household.
Bodycam footage from the incident showed police arriving at the property and Mr Thurston attempting to muzzle the dog in the garden.
Ms Bell was heard saying to the two officers: ‘I’ve got four kids, I love the dog, but I can’t have him around my kids…
