A Methodist church pastor has been charged with dealing crystal meth out of his church’s rectory, police said.
Herbert Miller, the reverend of the Woodbury United Methodist Church in Connecticut, US, was arrested on Friday (February 9) after police uncovered his alleged illegal side gig. In a plot similar to the hit crime drama Breaking Bad, the 63-year-old was busted by state troopers who pulled him over in Woodbury and discovered meth inside his vehicle.
The Walter White lookalike has been charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, and use of drug paraphernalia. According to a Connecticut State Police report, the pastor had been “observed operating his vehicle with a suspended registration for failing to maintain insurance requirements” before the drugs were found.
Police said he was then discovered to be “in possession of crystal methamphetamine in both rock form and liquefied into a hypodermic needle prepared for injection.” Miller may have been dealing meth in exchange for watching gay couples have sex, according to reports from a local outlet
