Andreas Brehme, hero of Germany’s 1990 World Cup triumph, passes away at 63

German footballer Andreas Brehme, known for scoring the winning goal in the 1990 World Cup final, passed away at 63 due to a heart attack. 

His partner, Susanne Schaefer, confirmed the news, urging privacy for the family. 

Brehme earned 86 caps for Germany, playing in three World Cups. 

He enjoyed successful club stints, notably with Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, and Kaiserslautern, and later pursued coaching.
